XP / Level Rewards

Since many have been complaining about the difficulty of obtaining levels, due to the growing amount of people hitting level 1200's, I am proposing a non competitive way of addressing this issue:

In the 'group' section of steam, it is possible to elect a Player of the Week - we will apply this to our server and reward the chosen individual with 10 free levels that may be spent on any race(s) of their choosing (until level bank is working). I will personally administer levels in order to keep logs making sure every participant will get an equal opportunity

Since this should not be based on play time (given the people who play most often obviously have the higher levels comparatively speaking) it should be merited for the following, but not subjected to:

1. Willingness to help the server and community
2. Providing WCS knowledge to newcomers
3. Forum postings
4. Overall positive attitude / friendliness in-game
5. Innovative ideas/suggestions
6. Donations

Those are few that I can think of off the type of my head, but you get the picture.. and are more than welcome to contribute more... This award will be given to a player BI-WEEKLY to start, and the player chosen will have to wait THREE turns before qualifying for reelection to make sure everyone has a fair chance.

We encourage the community to nominate each other for awards in the section provided, the more votes the higher the chances, and the victor will be determined by the administrators.

Hopefully this will encourage people to participate in the community more while also giving them a chance to not have to grind against the more veteran players.

I love the idea it will get ppl motivated to help. Hopefully the lb will be working in the next few months. Once the lb is working, i would say that we still keep this, but make it monthly and no1 can win twice in a row.

It honestly sounds like a great idea. Members should already be doing the majority if not everything on that list, but an extra incentive can only improve results.

ok since most of y'all seem to like this idea, i'll talk to voy and shark about it when they get on tonight and we'll hopefully get that started this week. glad you guys approve Very Happy
